Today I show you pieces from the Asian collections. Be it China, Koreea, Japan or India, they are priceless. All beautiful but different, as they belong to different cultures. I am not an art expert. I only choose what I liked most.
Iata cateva:
China si Coreea:
Japonia:
India:

Rizalenio
Thanks for posting your selection from Asia. The 7th photo is my favorite. That represents my country – Philippines’ national animal. 🙂
Traveling Hawk
Hi, Rizalenio! Thanks for saying this. I have seen himin many photos from Philippine but I didn’t know it’s the representative animal for your country. There are few such animals left in my country too, in Transylvania 🙂
VP
A slightly less familiar part of the museum and quite interesting!
joo
I agree with VP, the Asian collection is much less popular and so wonderful!
The last photo is a pearl!
Traveling Hawk
VP, I am enloved in Asian art so I look after it everywhere I am 🙂
Traveling Hawk
I agree, Joo! It’s an exquisite statue. Also I would like to know what deity is that from above, the golden one. May be my Asian friends could help 🙂
Jidhu Jose

Phivos Nicolaides
Very interesting collection. I have seen it in person and I have admired the pieces of great art. It would be nice to include also the Greek collection

Thanks, Jidhu Jose!

Thanks, Phivos! In my tommorow post there will be part of the Greek collection, which is amazing! I grouped it under the European collection:)

Frumos, salutari!
