The public observatory is situated at the 77th floor. The ticket costs 300 bht/person, including one drink at the bar. You may visit the tower between 10-22.30, daily. The hotel is situated at Pratunam intersection.
Here are some photos I took there, but I must prevent you that I didn’t use a tripod and I am not specialized at all in night photos.
Daca in postarea precedenta vi-am aratat imagini din Bangkok ziua, va conduc acum sa urcati cu mine in Turnul Baiyoke, cea mai inalta cladire din Thailanda, pentru a admira capitala, noaptea.
Construirea turnului s-a terminat in 1997. El are 85 de etaje si adaposteste Hotelul Baiyoke Sky. Daca ar fi sa urci pe scari pana sus, ar trebui sa faci fata la 2060 de trepte, ceea ce ti-ar lua cam o ora, asa ca tot liftul ramane de baza! Ca o curiozitate, se mai spune ca inaltimea cladirii o egaleaza pe cea a 182 de persoane, catarate una pe umerii celeilalte.
La etajul 77 exista un observator public, deschis zilnic intre 10-22.30. Biletul costa 300 bht/persoana, ceea ce include si o bautura la bar. Hotelul se gaseste in cartierul Pathumvan, in apropierea garii Ratchaprarop. De la metroul lejer am mers pe jos cca. 10 minute, in zona intersectiei Pratunam.
Intrarea in hotel te intampina cu un castel din povesti. Sa fie o aluzie la ce vezi sus? Stam la rand la bilete, printre tot felul de natii, admirand decoratia de Craciun a usilor hotelului.
Liftul modern, silentios, incepe sa pluteasca in sus, insotit de oh-uri si ah-uri…O intindere nemerginita de lumini. Nu recunoastem nimic, abia am sosit in Bangkok, la amiaza! Sus, inconjuram holul, in care mai sunt prezentate o casa traditionala si masti traditionale thailandeze. Nu lipsesc nici standurile cu suveniruri. Niste elevi de liceu, costumati, se pregatesc de un Christmas party, la care ia parte – evident – si un Mos Craciun burtos.

What a tall building say. Would anything for me … hihi I take aab that you have taken the lift not the stairs. You say you do not have a tripod and not specialized are in night shots, but you have no night mode on your camera?
