Teheran Road, for example, is the center of the Korean IT, nicknamed “Teheran Valley” to create an anlogy with the American “Sillicon Valley”. All the important software and IT companies have their headquarters here. But this is also the center of fashion and art. And also, Kukkiwon, an association promoting the national sport, Taekwondo, has the headequarter in Gangnam. If I would add other attractions as COEX, Bongeunsa Temple and Seonjeongneung with the royal tombs, about which I told you already, you will better understand why the tourists cannot miss Gangnam. On the many roads of Gangnam, everybody may find something to enjoy.
This time I will only show you some photos, and you will choose what you like.
Seoul being a city far less visited by my fellow countrymen heading to Asia, than, let’s say, Hong Kong, Singapore, Beijing or Bangkok, I wanted to show them what kind of tradition, history and culture has this town to offer. And if I saw all these in only 7 days, just think how many one could see if the stay will be longer, and extended to all this beautiful country, where I felt myself safe every moment and where I gathered so many nice and unforgettable memories! Good by and thank you Seoul!
Interesting design on some of those buildings. I like the sculpture in the last shot.

i really wonder why in the philippines we dont have buildings which have impressive designs as these.
just in awe of these structures. looks like they placed lots of ideas before it was built
Sunt, Liliana! Si sper sa ma mai bucur…
dong ho, on 2010 Seoul was the world’s capital of design, may be that’s why:) They are very advanced in architecture and construction, and I have seen but a very small part of it!
In mod sigur!
Multumesc!
It has been a wonderful journey. Thank you for sharing the great pictures. I have never seen Seoul in such illuminating detail.
You are welcome, Doug! It was a pleasure to share with my virtual friends the wonders I have seen in Seoul.
What a best way to end it here – modernity. Looking back at your past Korea posts, I got to see the beauty of their temples. Now, looking at all these wonderful buildings and art installations, I got to see their futuristic artistry which is very inspiring.
Rizalenio, I am glad you travelled with me in that part of the world, and that you enjoyed the journey! Thank you for all the kind words you posted along the travel.
Interesting modern architecture and sculptures. It has been a fascinating journey in Seoul, thanks for giving me the opportunity to see it.
Thank you, J_on_tour, for being together with me in this journey!

Thanks, Life Ramblings, for coming along in this journey, and expressing your opinions!
I finally had the time to check all of your Seoul posts. You’re truly a passionate blogger, you went in great detail, I’m sure you must be very popular travel blogger in Romania 🙂 Your posts brought back memories to me. Seoul is a city I would like to visit over and over again and I hope I can manage. I loved Gangnam, because I love skyscrapers. I wanna discover this part more in the future. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to your new adventures 🙂
Thank you, MKL! I am glad you managed to read the posts about Seoul and you enjoyed them. Your posts have added information when I prepared the trip. As I wrote, I loved Seoul and would like to return there, but I am not sure it will be possible. In the future, in the little time I still have to travel, I want to see new places. But I loved everything about Seoul and this will stay as dear memory for me. Thanks for the appreciation you gave to my blogging.
