Intram si ne invaluie imediat o atmosfera fermecata.
Iesim ametiti dintr-o incapere numai pentru a intra in alta, tot colorata, tot stralucitoare.
In interior, cateva fete gurese care stau la taifas, pazesc niste suzani frumos brodate. Mie imi plac in mod deosebit teracotele cu cahle smaltuite.
On the Silk Road in Uzbekistan 28. The Sitorai Mokhikhosa Palace
The last place we visited in Bukhara was the modern Sitora-I-Mohi-Hosa Palace. This was constructed at the end of the 19th century and belonged to the last emirs of Bukhara. He sent his best artisans to St. Petersburg and Yalta to learn about European architecture. So, the palace they erected is a mixture of Russian and Oriental elements. One has the impression that the enchanted world of the 1001 nights is right here.
Unusual plants painted on the walls in shining colors, multicolored glass on the ceilings, small decorative objects, everything is exquisite. No wonder that the name of the palace means in Persian “The House of the Moon and the Stars”.
In one of the palace a Museum of Ethnography and Art Embroidery was organised. Wonderful terracotta stoves are guarded by some talkative girls. The palace reflects itself into a small pond.
The pavilion near the palace was a place appreciated by the members of the harem housed here. Our team was also seated in the shadows, drinking cold drinks before the departure to Samarkand.
Superbe imagini…
