I have not been too critical till now but Agra seemed to me the most chaotic and dirtiest place where I have been during this journey.
At the outskirts of the town, the same one level structures with tiny shops, selling everything. The street is dirty and the houses look abandoned.
Here and there, a poster reminds about education or presents the congratulations of some politicians to the people who voted them.
As we approach the center, there are more and more vehicles, mostly motorbikes and tuk-tuks, supervised by…monkeys! They moved so slowly, so I took some pics but not very good ones. Sorry. But, at least, you can imagine what I am talking about.
There are also some newer buildings, demonstrating the progress in town but it is no reason enough I will ever move here…
I was so dissapointed by the way Agra looks like (even if I was prevented), that we stayed at the hotel. It was already late and we were after a long and tiresome day. I was so tired that I left the good hotel (Crystal Inn) we stayed there, without photos, excepting a very “eco” advice, found in the bathroom.
I was reading your story with a heavy heart, my friend. I hope those politicians will help them secure a clean place to live.
What a journey, Traveling Hawk?
Sad recordings of developments, so many small towns like this everywhere in South East Asia. Just sad but the truth ! Glad you are travelling again !
With your beautiful images, we traveled to the colorful and bustling EVERYDAY LIFE of India !!!
Thank you
Greetings
superbe imagini
It’s very difficult, Rizalenio. And yes, it was a memorable journey.
Thank you, Wong1 Yes, soon I will admire and enjoy another culture.
Unfortunately, Magda, everyday life in India is not always and for everybody so joyful. There are a lot of very poor people and the environment they live into is not proper everywhere. There are still many things to do there.
Multumesc, taio!
There is so much to see and photograph, the beautiful and the sad. You have given us a big picture view of life in India.
Thank you, Doug. I tried to capture not only the touristic objectives but also the daily life.
I couldn’t agree more with you TH. Agra is a dirty city with little to offer besides the magnificent Taj Mahal so i only spent one day there.
minunta serie..ai surprins momentele cotidiene care ar putea caracteriza orasul:)
And so does the great majority of the tourists believe, Life Ramblings!
Multumesc pentru vizita si apreciere, Nightwish!

Busy indeed it is, Randy!
The not so nice side of the country. Picturesque anyway and spectacular in a peculiar way.
