Today I will tell you about my accommodation in the resort of the Lake Bomun. This is an international resort, opened in 1979, and its main hotels are: Hyunday, Concorde and Hilton. When I was there, the World Taekwondo Championship took place in Gyeongyu, and the hotels were full to the capacity. I found only a double, which cost me over 70 euros for the night, but I was grateful for the warmness and comfort of the hotel when I returned wet to the bones from Bulguska, and I had to dry even my money!
A tourist may go to town by a taxi (10000 won, 10 minutes) or by bus (1500 won, duration 20 minutes, is comes from 10 in 10 minutes). The bus stop for the tourist bus was right near my hotel. I took my chance to admire the Korean landscaping in the yard of my hotel, shortly before the bus departure.
The resort offers a lot to the tourists: outdoor performance hall, drive-in theatre for 400 cars, art gallery, shops, restaurants, pools, tracks for hiking, a hot spring, and a nice promenade around the lake. On April the cherries are in bloom there, offering a great spectacle. The last entertinment place is the Shilla Millenium Park.
Iata cateva fotografii, sa va faceti o idee:

Dimineata, m-am plimbat putin in jurul hotelului, cat sa-mi fac o impresie.

Oprirea autocarului pentru turistii straini era chiar in parcarea hotelului alaturat.

Looks like a great place.
I’m sure that when the sun shines, it is wonderful!
I like the depth of the colors, even without the sun…
Beautiful trees at photo#7. love the silhouettes of the mountain looking at the windows. Their landscapes are really a must-see. Hotel Concorde looks so grand.
This is so beautiful post and the pictures are gorgeous!
For the last photos, it was sun. For the rest, it rained! Thanks, VP!

Interesting post and beautiful pictures.Greetings Andrzej.
Thanks, Andrzej!
Outstanding looking accommodation. I share your view with the difficulties in finding a single room but sometimes the quality is nice to enjoy and reflected in the price one has to pay for a double in a place like this.
Yes, I’m not complaining this time, J_on_tour:)
