Maruyama Park, between Gion and Maruyama Mt., is a “must see” in Kyoto. It is situated in the Higashiyama district and it can be reached by 206 bus. One of the most visited site in town, Maruyama Park becomes crowded on April, when people go to admire the old Shidarezakura, the weeping cherry tree and use the park as a venue of hanami.
Water bodies provide a place of relaxation and meditation. The park is an appreciated meeting point for people of all ages.
Parcul Maruyama este un punct central al orasului Kyoto, situat in Higashiyama, intre Gion si Muntele Maruyama. In aprilie, aici este unul dintre cele mai apreciate locuri de hanami (admiratul ciresilor in floare) si datorita batranului Shidarezakura, ciresul plangator, care devine atragator mai ales noaptea, cand este iluminat pentru ca oamenii sa se poata bucura de frumusetea florilor sale pana noaptea tarziu. . Eu a trebuit sa ma multumesc sa il vad ziua, in drum de la un templu la altul.

In parc, cateva ochiuri de apa atrag pasarile si alcatuiesc oaze de liniste si meditatie.
Unul dintre locurile cele mai vizitate din Kyoto, Parcul Maruyama atrage oameni de toate varstele. Autobuzul 206 te lasa chiar in apropierea sa.

Very nice series with the cherry tree in the middle. Very nicely interspersed with traditional Japanese attire of the people, the lanterns, the nature and the environment.

Mereu mă întreb oare cum păşesc femeile acelea încălţate cu şosete şi şlapi! O fi vreo chestie conform căreia să nu li se vadă degetele de la picioare?
Sosetele au un deget mare si slapii sunt din cei prin care treci degetul mare. Cand intra undeva si se descalta la ua, raman in sosete.
